This first-grade addition facts book will allow your children to engage in a fun way with out drilling flash cards. This book will allow the first-grade children to build blocks of arithmetic. Learning the addition facts will prepare them for regrouping and carrying the one, when children start adding large. For example, when children begin to add 6+5, they will discover that they have one group of ten, with one left over. This is the same principle of thinking that they will need to do when they start adding two-digit numbers vertically. If you want your first grader to master the addition facts up to 20 just allow them to recite, practice and become familiar with addition facts by practicing at least a page a day out of this book. Dr. Moneshia Dashiell furthered her education at Albany Technical College where her exciting future began. In 2004, she received her infant toddler childcare specialist degree and in 2005 she received her degree as a child development specialist. Dr. Moneshia Dashiell is a summa cum laude graduate from Christian Bible College and Seminary with a G.P.A of 4.0. She currently holds a bachelor degree of Christian education, masters of Christian education, and a doctors of Christian education. Dr. Dashiell is certified to educate children and adults. She is proud to be a graduate of Christian education. She was nominated for the 2013 & 2014 BLACK ESSENCE AWARD for being a children's author. Dr. Dashiell is currently a Child Development Specialist for Anne Arundel County Public school. She is honored to educate children with learning disabilities, manage student's behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
