Celebrating 180 years of the iconic Cunard Line, the world's most famous shipping company. On 4th July 2020, the Cunard Line turns 180. It is without question the most famous transatlantic shipping company and much beloved on both sides of the Atlantic. Throughout its history Cunard has been instrumental in creating the American dream, transporting millions of immigrants to the new world. During both world wars, the Cunard ships answered the call of duty and transported thousands of troops to fight on the sides of the allies. Chris Frame and Rachelle Cross have shared a passion for cruise ships for most of their lives. Together they have written over a dozen books as well as articles and stories for magazines and newspapers. Both have appeared on TV news speaking about cruising, while Chris has featured as an expert for the BBC, Sky News and ABC.
