OverviewThe irony of human behavior is that he starts to enjoy the present soon, forgetting the painful tragedies of the past. This habit of forgetting often makes him careless, and such carelessness may shape a perilous future for him. The world is filled with unknown threats and dangers hidden under the layers of time. Some of them are visible, while some of them are not. Often human relies on his eyes and his vision, but not always what you see with your eyes, is true. We relate the impact of a threat with its size. However, some threats are so small, nearly invisible. These threats emerge from the mysterious microscopic world dominated by pathogenic microbes, such as bacteria & viruses. And for ignoring these threats, one may have to pay a heavy price, sometimes in form of life. These threats may reveal themselves in the wave of destruction. This might be possible that the next wave would turn into a disaster, engulfing the entire human population in its domination. During the Second World War, a new power came into existence: nuclear power. Engulfing the lives of millions of innocent people, it was considered the biggest threat to human civilization until now. But it is a misconception that the radioactive substances or nuclear weapons are the most lethal and dangerous for humans. However, the lethality of radioactive substances and nuclear weapons is insignificant compared to that of these pathogenic microbes. A hundred grams of uranium is enough to kill thousands of people, while a hundred grams of botulinum toxin produced by the bacterium C. botulinum is enough to eradicate the entire human race from this planet. On this planet, some people are developing some weapons such as missiles, nuclear weapons for their profit or revenge. Among those dark people, some super genius brains are indulged in developing these microbes not only for profit and revenge, but also to rule the world. 11 TH WAVE...THE BEGINNING is a story of a humble, innocent 13-year-old super genius boy, Kawach, loses his family-the only world he ever knew. His father, Aroon, was a dedicated virologist, deeply committed to his work. He never wavered in his ethics or morals, always prioritizing his responsibility to society above everything else. For his loyalty, Aroon had to pay a heavy price-one that costs him both his own life and the life of his pregnant wife, leaving his child alone in this cruel world. He devoted his life in helping others, believing in a better society, yet when tragedy strikes, that same society turns away. Left alone with his grief, Kawach is vulnerable and searching for his life's meaning. In this void of grief and betrayal, an evil man seizes the opportunity. He takes the broken boy under his wing, slowly nurturing his pain into an intense feeling of revenge. Kawach's extraordinary mind is twisted and exploited to create viruses, causing the deadliest pandemic in human history. Whenever a society neglects its responsibilities and commits injustice against a competent individual, evil seizes that injustice as an opportunity to spread darkness and create waves of destruction. The 11th wave is the story of such a wave that turns into a tsunami to sink the grand titanic of human civilization. This book explains how the feeling of greed and revenge turns a man into a monster to create deadly viruses to rule the world. Although we, as writers, disclaim that it is a science-fiction book, but this might be the hidden story originated from the dark world of virologists somewhere in a virology lab. And destiny may choose that lab as a launchpad of the deadliest pandemic of human civilization. This story is filled with immense human feelings of love, betrayal, hatred, jealousy, ambitiousness, affection, greed and sorrow. Through this book, we invite our readers on a journey into the brutal and mysterious microbial world, where invisible predators are ready to inhabit your body until it succumbs.
