OverviewAlexander Delfinov's new book-by the Berlin-based post-punk poet writing in Russian-is a mixture of fury and tenderness, confession and sarcasm, absurdity and lucidity. These texts do not merely describe reality; they are a living component of it. Delfinov writes as if poetry were the last thing that remains when everything else has already been taken away. Language here functions as an instrument of direct action: against war, against empire, and for the right to speak when silence is commanded. You can begin reading from any page. On one of them is exactly what you need.
