OverviewThe new book of poetry by Iryna Ivanchenko embodies a quiet stoicism - not so much a philosophical stance as a deeply moral and organic quality of her voice. There are no slogans or declarations here. Instead, the reader enters a world without hatred, yet full of tenderness; without aggression, yet with acceptance; without reproach toward the Creator, yet with a clear understanding of the boundary between good and evil. Written against the backdrop of war, these poems do not fall silent before violence, but offer a harmonizing counterworld - a space of love, hope, and renewal. Ivanchenko's poetic world, a world of ""milk and honey,"" remains consoling even when confronted with the harshest realities.
