His varied career has included working in universities, the IT industry and communications consultancy. He was briefly the joint leader of a political party and is the author of Bad News: What the Headlines Don't Tell Us. Edward Maxfield has almost twenty years' experience in political communication and lobbying. He has worked as a campaigner in the charity sector and was a member of the Liberal Democrats' national campaigns department. He now leads a charity supporting migrant workers.
