Overview

This dialogue between writer and interlocutor is not intended to be a confrontation but rather a relationship between two friends who confide in each other, strip themselves of all their masks, in the simple search of their own serenity. The author wants, with the forces that allowed him to achieve his goal, to find a way to make sure that you too succeed, simply by telling what happened to him. This is not the usual personal coach who instills pre-printed ''life lessons'' in you to lead you to success, he simply wants to try to be the fuse that this experience was for him, aware of the fact that, when you too have acquired awareness of what you are and what you can and you will have made it yours, you will also be able to inspire other people in doing so. The author wrote this book solely for his mother, whose reference can be seen from the female figure she addresses several times as a friend, who stops: home, family, work and children on her shoulders for a lifetime. He wants her to come out of her shell, to finally find the girl full of dreams that she once was and still is. She wants to try to give that ''Shock of Life'' that she herself first gave him to make him get this far; He does it with his life, through the pages of his diary, accomplices and directors of what life led him to do, to choose, to regret, managing to go back to when he was a child thanks to those pages. Her experience translates into that of her ''Dear friend'', who also has a diary, which she will have to reopen and leaf through to find her little girl and thus rediscover her greatest desires in her emotions.
