She has a large clinical practice but has also researched extensively about ADHD, particularly with respect to its relationship to tics and Tourette Syndrome. She speaks on the national circuit about ADHD and learning disabilities and has authored many papers and chapters on the subject. This is her first book for parents. Dr. Fern Leventhal, a neuropsychologist, is employed at NYU Medical Center as well as the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
