Overview

A follow-up to Borne's successful 100 Research Topic Guides for Students, this guide provides reproducible outlines for 100 more report topics popular with high school students and teachers, in all basic subject areas. Each outline will facilitate basic reference searching and encourage the student to perform successful self-directed research with both print and non-print sources. Topics reflect new and traditional student assignments. The guide is organized into five sections: Fine Arts, Language Arts, and Foreign Languages; Math, Science, and Technology; History, Economics, and Political Science; Social Issues; and Biography. DANA MCDOUGALD has taught all grade levels from Head Start to graduate students and has been a librarian at Cedar Shoals High School since 1979. She is co-author with Melvin Bowie of Information Services for Secondary Schools (Greenwood, 1997).
