As a traditional oral storyteller, and drawing upon her recent Yoruba ancestry, she visits schools and theatres all over the world. Atinuke is the author of the Anna Hibiscus series, the No. 1 Car Spotter series, Beti and the Little Round House illustrated by Emily Hughes, and the picture books Baby Goes to Market, B Is for Baby, L is for Love, Baby, Sleepy Baby and Catch That Chicken! illustrated by Angela Brooksbank. Lauren Hinds is a cartoonist and bookbinder from Trinidad and Tobago. She began her career as a freelance illustrator at the Trinidad Guardian and during that time pursued a diploma in graphic design and a certificate in bookbinding at the John Donaldson Technical Institute (University of Trinidad and Trinidad Creativity Campus). She graduated from the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2010 and enjoys creating narratives for children and young adults using the comics and illustration mediums.
