Professor of English at Bradley University, Dr. Susan Berry Brill de Ramirez, Ph.D., M.B.A., M.A., B.A., is a leader in the field of college success and author of Make College Work for You (Pearson, 2015). A widely published scholar, Professor Brill de Ramirez has an M.B.A. from UW-Madison, with additional training focused on the success of women in the higher education workforce: HERS Summer Institute, MLA workshops. As a literature scholar, she is a specialist in the fields of Native American literatures, ecocriticism, folklore, and literary criticism and theory. Deeply committed to each student's capacity to learn and succeed at the highest of levels, she has served as a national Councilor for the Arts & Humanities with the Council for Undergraduate Research, a member of the PMLA Advisory Committee for the Modern Language Association, Book Review Editor for the CUR Quarterly, and a Lexington Books Series Editor.
