10 More Myths of Modern Academia Exploded: from the neutrality of secularism to the war between religion and science

Overview

This volume is a continuation of the exploration of the myths which underlie the whole of modern academia. These are the cultural presuppositions that fuel and shape our curricula and teaching programs. Our children begin to learn the basic information behind these myths long before they attend their first pre-school class, as they are taught or implied in almost every program aired for children on TV. These myths are taught as powerful cultural truths that a person must believe if they expect to be accepted as sophisticated educated people in society. To insure that children learn these just so stories, education is carefully manipulated, and children are taught what to think, not how to think. Everybody, Christians included, must bow to these myths, and they are now being taught on Bible campuses as well as secular. Any part of the Scripture which seems to be at variance to them, is either reinterpreted, played down, or ignored. But they are myths. This book challenges them and shows them to be what they are, popular presuppositions of atheism, with little to support or defend them against a bold challenge based in reality. This volume is double the size of the first volume as it goes into depth to expose and explode these dogmatic facts of our modern centers of academia.
