Mercier Press and Literature Ireland are proud to announce the co-publication of John B. Keane's play 'Sive' translated into Ukrainian as 'Saiv' by Andriy Masliukh. This publication brings a major work in Ireland's theatrical canon direct to the Ukrainian community in Ireland. John B. Keane was one of Ireland's most humorous authors and is still recognised as one of Ireland's greatest playwrights. Translator's Bio: Born in 1975, Andriy Masliukh graduated from Lviv University in 1998; cooperating as a freelance translator with various publishers, he has translated into Ukrainian over 60 books, from treatises by Ignatius of Loyola, Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross to fiction by C. S. Lewis, Arundhati Roy, John Boyne, Kazuo Ishiguro, Ben Elton, George Saunders, Paolo Giordano, Angela Nanetti and others.
