Overview

Author Information

Martin Edwards (born 1955) trained as a solicitor and specializes in all aspects of employment law. He has created two highly successful crime series as well as authored some 40 crime shorts. The first in his Harry Devlin series (All the Lonely People) was short-listed on publication for the CWA John Creasey Memorial Dagger for the best first crime novel of the year. Martin is a member of the Murder Squad collective of crime writers and is chairman of the nominations sub-committee for the CWA Diamond Dagger, crime writing's most prestigious award. In 2007 he was appointed the Archivist of the Crime Writers' Association and in 2011 he was appointed the Archivist of the Detection Club.
