The daughter of Sheriff Pusser, Dwana Pusser worked in radio broadcast communications for more than fifteen years. She is actively involved in civic affairs in Adamsville, Tennessee, and she keeps alive the spirit and feats of her father by maintaining a Web site in his honor and hosting the annual Buford Pusser Festival in Adamsville. Ken Beck has been a features and entertainment writer for The Tennesean newspaper in Nashville, Tennessee, for four decades. He earned a BA in journalism from Harding University. The father of two grown children, Beck and his wife live near Watertown, Tennessee. Jim Clark is a freelance writer who has served as the editor of The Bullet newsletter and associate editor for Card Collectors Digest. He was the recipient of the 1987 IABC Gold Quill Award for Excellence in the News Releases category. Clark lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, Mary.
