Overview

"Teddy is lonely and depressed having to work a dead end job for a security company. His usual assignments consist of standing guard for hours at a time, at various locations, trying to find meaning in the monotonous march of time. His job title is a Rover, someone who jumps from one location to the next working as a security guard. Life hasn't been easy on Teddy as he reflects on his experiences from growing up. Teddy searches for longing hoping to finally meet a woman with whom he can share an emotional connection. Unfortunately, Teddy has developed a porn habit and has become a sex addict. Even when he attempts to seek treatment it backfires after he sleeps with the first woman he meets at the anonymous meeting. Teddy can't find anyone to love or love him back. Teddy receives a new assignment to work as a Rover for an adult entertainment company, ""Sade Entertainment."" At work, he meets a fellow Rover, named Sylvia, with whom he can finally develop a normal human connection except that the only time they ever get to talk to each other is when they are substituting each other's assignments and can only spend a few minutes at a time to talk and get to know each other. Eventually, Teddy meets a porn star named Jane Heart who is the head of the Sade Entertainment. He watches her erotic videos excessively and eventually develops an obsession where he yearns to have just one romantic moment with her. The only good part about his day is meeting porn stars exiting the lobby. Teddy finally manages to fulfill his fantasy of sleeping with Jane Heart. While working, Teddy suspects two men who are disguised as electricians, of trafficking minors into the production offices. He becomes paranoid and decides to investigate further to become a vigilante hoping to rescue the victims from this human trafficking ring."
