Author Information

Bruce Matson practices law in Richmond, Virginia with the law firm of LeClairRyan, where he also serves as the firm's Chief Legal Officer. Bruce's practice consists primarily of corporate restructuring, problem loan workouts, and service as a court-appointed trustee for financially-troubled businesses. Bruce serves as a director of the Apple REIT Companies; and he is an executive officer and director of the Virginia State Golf Association. Bruce is a 1979 graduate of the College of William & Mary and a 1983 graduate of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law. Bruce and his wife Cheryl have two daughters and live in Richmond and attend Christ Lutheran Evangelical Church.
