Author Information

Tom Wopat is a contemporary jazz singer and actor who is best known for starring in the 1980s hit television series The Dukes of Hazzard. Wopat is also a Tony-nominated Broadway actor. Rex Reed of the New York Observer calls Wopat a category-defying performer. He has narrated several audiobooks, including The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks and Dark Watch by Clive Cussler. Dick Cavett was the host of the Dick Cavett Show on ABC and PBS and also hosted talk shows on the USA, HBO, and CNBC cable networks. He appears frequently on Imus in the Morning, HuffPost Live, and other interview programs and was nominated for his most recent Emmy in 2012. Cavett is the author of Talk Show, the coauthor of Cavett and Eye on Cavett, and writes an online opinion column for the New York Times. He lives in New York City and Montauk, New York. Andrew McCarthy is an actor, director, and award-winning writer who has written for National Geographic Traveler, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal. His The Longest Journey Home was a Financial Times (London) Best Book of 2012. Martha Plimpton has starred in the films The Goonies and 200 Cigarettes among numerous others. A strong supporter of the theater, she donates her time and efforts to the 52nd Street Project, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to matching inner-city children with professional theater artists to create original theater. Marsha Mason is an American actress and director. She has twice won the Golden Globe Award and has been nominated four times for an Academy Award.
