Author Information

Floyd M. Gardner is a consulting engineer active in electronics and communications. He is the principal of Gardner Research Company, a Fellow of the IEEE, a registered professional engineer in California, and the author of Phaselock Techniques, Second Edition. John D. Baker worked for many years as a software engineer in communications, signal processing, and simulation. Currently, he is at a university, applying his knowledge of technology to the teaching of mathematics. The authors have been working together on simulation programs since 1980. This book reveals much of what they have learned on the subject.
