He lives in Queens, New York, where he thinks a lot about cats, even ones who can't shoot lasers from their eyes. Rosie Knight has been writing all her life. Growing up in London, she was an avid reader and later became a professional poet until she moved to Los Angeles to write comics. She's the author of Fierce Heroines and also an award-winning journalist who writes about films, books, comics, and TV at sites like The Hollywood Reporter, Nerdist, IGN, and Esquire. She currently lives the dream life, writing for a living and watching old scary movies with her husband in Long Beach, California. Katie Schenkel is a comic writer best known for the critically acclaimed, Eisner Award-nominated graphic novel The Cardboard Kingdom. She especially loves to write about girls' friendships and their perspectives on the world around them. Midwest to her core, Katie lives in Chicago with her partner, Madison. Alan Brown, is a freelance illustrator who has created artwork for Disney, Warner Bros. and the BBC, while continuing to provide illustrations for children's books and comics. Alan has worked mainly on children's books for kids who find it hard to engage and be enthusiastic about reading. These clients include Harper Collins, Capstone, Ransom, Franklin Watts and Ben 10 Omniverse. Fran Bueno is a comic artist with over twenty-five years of experience. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and has worked on a wide variety of projects since then, illustrating for pamphlets, advertisements, children's books, and young adult comics.
