Overview

A big game hunting party has been reported missing and Special Agent (survival and tracking expert) Jamie LaPointe, a.k.a. Sam is ordered to find them. The trail leads to a serial killer, who is now stalking Sam. The evidence soon uncovers massive aerial, big game poaching and a powerful, sophisticated syndicate, who is executing a governmental takeover. A contract is put out on Sam, resulting in his plane being shot down. While escaping the assassin, Sam falls into a snow covered, bottomless crevasse. Author Information

About the author: Philip R Morehouse, born in the mountains of upstate New York where he grew up on a family farm. Throughout his youth, his grandfather mentored him, teaching him how to fish, trap, hunt and survive in the backwoods. These skills were crucial to his mother and sibling's survival. After graduating, he enlisted in the Navy, where he received more survival training and later found himself stationed on a ship blockading Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Later the ship was ordered to Haiti to rescue Americans during the Dominion/Haiti Crisis and his time in service was extended during the Viet Nam War. After returning home, he married, joined the Army National Guard and subsequently served in various photography assignments. Among his many jobs, he has worked as a professional writer and photographer for most of his life. Now retired, he is free to pursue writing true-to-life, action, adventure stories. He now lives in North Carolina with his wife, Candi.
