When one reflects on the feelings associate with morning, words such as freshness, newness, and renewal seems to come to mind. Descriptors such as disappointment, turmoil, and deep betrayal are feelings that persons would not equate to the state of being in the morning. Painstakingly, often the person or people we love and trust the most possesses the greatest power to betray us. So, what can we do? How do we once again see morning as a new start instead of a bitter end? How do we deal with the bitterness and rage that threatens to envelope our very souls? Just as the sun meets the morning, so you too can survive the darkness. B.J. is an ordained pastor of the Evangelical Covenant Church. She currently serves as a volunteer chaplain at St. Anne's Nursing Home. She has served on many national and conference level boards and commissions.She co-pastors Grace Covenant Ministries church plant with Pastor Gregory Willocks. After 42 years of service in the educational sector, she retired achieving great accomplishments. B.J. is an avid reader, vigilant prayer warrior, and an active member of the Continental Society.B.J. is a widow after 37 years of marriage and has four children: Larry, Joseph, Tangee, and Tionne, twenty-four grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great, grandchildren.
