Author Information

Francesca Fiorentini (Ph.D., University of Trento) is an Associate Professor of Comparative Law at the IUSLIT Department, University of Trieste, Italy. She is former Research Associate at the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht of Hamburg within the network “Study Group on a European Civil Code” and former Marie Curie Fellow at the Zentrum für Europäisches Rechtspolitik of the University of Bremen. She has authored a book on secured transactions over immovable property in European law, co-edited many books and published more than fifty articles and essays in Italian, English and German. Some of her works have been translated into Spanish and Serbian.    Marta Infantino (Ph.D., University of Palermo; LL.M., New York University School of Law) is an Associate Professor of Comparative Law at the IUSLIT Department, University of Trieste, Italy. She has held visiting professorships in Canada, Colombia, and France. She has authored or co-authored six books and more than fifty articles in Italian, French, and English. Some of her works have been translated into Greek, Chinese, and Spanish.
