Reviews

Influence of Place is awesome! I was deeply moved by the tension-ridden character of Ernestine Louise's prose. She has a gifted facility for expressing two seemingly contradictory ideas in one thought. Both in form and substance, her poetry has a late Richard Wright or Basho-like quality: every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home. This capacity for expressing in tensive parity two seemingly disparate sentiments is what stands out for me in he work. -Mark I. Wallace, Ph.D author of When God Was a Bird Ernestine Louise's writing and poetry are both pointed and poignant! I really enjoyed reading her work. - Keith Reeves, Ph.D author of Voting Rights and Fears
