Great story told through the eyes of a young boy named Thomas, about all the shenanigans planned by his genius best friend, William! William comes up with the coolest (although usually dangerous) plans, which inevitably go terribly wrong and William ends up in trouble. But he never gives up! The story is cleverly told and fun to read. There were a few things in the story that kids may not notice but which made me chuckle - for example, there's a section in the book where Thomas decides to take up the drums. When he tells his mom, she makes a face which he took to mean excitement! As a parent, I know what that face really meant! In that same chapter, the friends were practicing for an extended amount of time and William's mom kept popping in asking if they were going to take a break. The kids thought it was nice that she was so concerned about them! Haha NeoMuadDib Author InformationMark Gunning grew up in the village of Chippawa ( which is part of Niagara Falls) back in the early 70s and 80s. He was very fortunate to have some great adventurous friends along the way. As he got older and wiser, he enjoyed sharing some of his adventures with his new friends and students. Luckily, he met another children's author back in 2010. This encounter motivated him to pursue his dream and create the 'I Told You So!' series for kids.
