Overview

Illustrating how a group of people can come together to solve the most complicated problems--even if only by trial and error--this humorous story relates the tale of a town that springs up in the middle of nowhere and is populated by great thinkers. It's just as well, too, because one year they experience a summer so hot, so sweltering, so muggy, and so unbearable that it will take their combined ingenuity to deal with the fallout. Featuring the themes of teamwork, effort, and solidarity, this imaginative story will entertain readers as they learn important values.
