Author Information

John Rogers was born in 1929 in County Down. He went to Rockport prepschool, then to Charterhouse in England. At eighteen he started work with a National Billboard Company, and worked in Belfast, Liverpool, and Glasgow. In the late fifties her returned to Ireland to take charge of the company's affairs there. Ten years later he became the loser in a fierce take over battle with a conglomerate company and lost his hob. For a time he worked for the Canadian Poster Industry, then returned to the UK to work once again in the Poster Industry. In the mid seventies her returned home to Ireland and set up his own Financial Services Company in which he still works. Blue Doors is John's second novel and is based on his many business experiences. He is happily married with four children and eight grandchildren, Marcus, Thomas, Geoffrey, Any, Molly, Michael, Oliver and Jack. He is lucky enough for the extended family to live all within a ten mile radius.
