Overview

"""What is a culture? Many different things make up a culture, like clothing, customs, traditions, and language. Everyone around you, everyone you see, has some form of culture. Some may be the same. Some may be different. Nevertheless, always remember to be caring, understanding, and show respect, but most of all, love one another. Why? We are all each other's fellow travellers on planet Earth. Even if we have different ideas, colors, clothing, religions, and languages, we all belong to one human race. What kind of traveller on Earth are you? Kind, funny, silly, brave? The possibilities are beyond the stars!"""

Author Information

"Tanya Kondolay is of Indian origin and identifies herself as a Jat Sikh, Punjabi that was born and raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia in Canada. Her career is in the medical field; however, alongside finishing her medical degree, she decided to pursue her passion for the arts. Her affinity towards art was evident at a young age that began with drawing, progressed to painting, and transcended into dancing""€""traditional bhangra and ballet. She then went on to amalgamate her curiosity for expression further toward instruments by learning how to play the piano and guitar. Ultimately, she decided to embrace her love for words and drawing, extrapolating a newfound purpose, aside from medicine. With humility, she has transformed herself into both a writer and illustrator for children literature as well."
