The inhabitants of the fabled underwater continent have never taken easily to the idea of a half-human ruler, but now the kingdom itself is rejecting Arthur's claim to the throne. To stop the devastating seaquakes that are literally tearing his home in two, Arthur will have to delve deep into the mysterious history of Atlantis, confronting secrets from his own past he thought long-buried! In AQUAMAN VOL. 6, acclaimed storytellers Jeff Parker (BATMAN '66) and Paul Pelletier (SUPERMAN) unleash a Maelstrom of change on the King of Atlantis! AV CLUB/THE ONION AQUAMAN does a great job of standing apart, while remaining plugged in to the rest of the DC Universe, continuing to add to larger picture around the maritime legend.
