Overview

The eagerly anticipated companion to New York Timesbestseller Every Day. Bestselling author David Levithan (co-author of Will Grayson, Will Grayson with John Green) tells Rhiannon's side of the story as she seeks to discover the truth about love and how it can change you. Every day is the same for Rhiannon. She has accepted her life, convinced herself that she deserves her distant, temperamental boyfriend, Justin. She's even established guidelines by which to live- Don't be too needy. Avoid upsetting him. Never get your hopes up. But one morning everything changes. Justin wants to be with her for the first time, and they share a perfect day-a perfect day Justin doesn't remember the next morning. Confused, depressed and desperate for another great day, Rhiannon starts questioning everything. Until a stranger tells her that the Justin she spent that day with-the one who made her feel like a real person-wasn't Justin at all.

Reviews

'This is everything I devour in a novel: heart, humour and dialogue I'd kill to have written.' Melina Marchetta on Will Grayson, Will Grayson 'Big, crazy and lovable.' Weekend Australian on Will Grayson, Will Grayson 'Teens and older young adults will find themselves here and likely learn a little about that many-splendoured emotion.' Kirkus Reviews on How They Met and Other Stories '[The Realm of Possibility] is aimed at young adults, but anyone who remembers the exquisiteness of first love, the complications of teenage friendship or the pain of rejection will find something to relate to in this series of perfectly formed stories about feelings.' NZ Herald on Sunday 'David Levithan's latest release is timely and important but, most of all, it is astonishingly sophisticated...Levithan has outdone himself.' Courier Mail on Two Boys Kissing 'Levithan's self-conscious, analytical style marries perfectly with the plot. His musings on love, longing and human nature knit seamlessly with A's journey. Readers will devour his trademark poetic wordplay and cadences that feel as fresh as they were when he wrote Boy Meets Boy (2003). An awe-inspiring, thought-provoking reminder that love reaches beyond physical appearances or gender.' Kirkus Reviews on Every Day 'I'm not sure how David Levithan does it but with each book of his I read, I fall a little more in love with his writing style...a quick yet wonderful read and I highly recommend it for people who like beautifully written books which are just a little bit different.' Fictional Thoughts on The Realm of Possibility

Author Information

David Levithan and Andrea Cremer met each other in Washington, DC, even though that's not where they live. Andrea was pretty certain she wasn't invisible, but David confirmed that fact by introducing her to some other writers, who were all able to see her. Before writing with Andrea, David had never written a novel with a one-word title. His novels include Every Day, Will Grayson, Will Grayson (with John Green) and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist (with Rachel Cohn). You can visit David at www.davidlevithan.com and follow his lover's dictionary on Twitter @loversdiction. He lives just outside New York City.
