About the Authors Suzanne and Becky began their friendship as a licensed Occupational Therapist and a certified Recreation Therapist while working at a renowned rehabilitation center for patients with physical disabilities. Their purpose was to provide meaning and support to individuals recovering from physical trauma. After they started their families, their calling to help others was deepened by their passion to provide emotional support for their children. Motivated by the realization that childhood is such a fragile yet pivotal time in human development, they began exploring the possibility of providing children with a tangible source of emotional and mental support through books.
