During this time he was appointed Adjunct Professor of Physiology at the University of La Salle and the Panamerican University School of Medicine. Dr. Arroyo has been a guest speaker at several international renal physiology conferences, and is interested in both basic science research and active teaching in the classroom. Dr. Arroyo is currently finishing a transitional year in General Surgery at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, after which he will take a position as a Post-Doctoral research associate at the Genetics Department of the Yale University School of Medicine.
