Overview

"Private investigator Sam Osborne gets himself mixed up in a case that brings back painful memories of his own son's disappearance many years ago. He can't say ""no"", however, to Maggie Turner, the violet-eyed beauty frantic to find her daughter Jenna. Maggie and Sam join forces to delve into how Jenna disappeared from a store in broad daylight with no witnesses. Did Maggie's ex-husband take the child or was it the mysterious neighbor who'd been watching the child? Those two people are on the long list of suspects Sam develops as he tries to follow a cold trail. With Maggie's help and a road trip to chase down what happened, he's hoping to catch the criminal, and maybe Maggie's heart as well."

Amazon reviews: A great kidnapping mystery By Allyn M. Stotz on May 11, 2015 Format: Paperback Another great read by this talented mother/daughter team. Everyone loves a good kidnapping suspense and Violet Fate is no exception. I've read the first two books in this series and can see how the detective Sam Osborne is really making his mark in the world. And finally, he is falling in love! These two authors keep coming up with great plots to keep us on our toes with such interesting characters that keep us captivated. After reading these three books, I'm really invested in their Sam Osborne character and can just imagine who would play him in the movie! And I'm dying to know if Sam ever finds his own kidnapped son. I hope these authors hurry up and get the next book in this series out. I'm sitting on pins and needles! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful 5.0 out of 5 starsGreat read and surprising ending By Swoper on March 2, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase In Violet Fate, Sam Osborne goes beyond being a great detective to become the central character of his own story. In addition to being a gripping story of a child kidnapping, Violet Fate is the story of how Sam finds his soul mate when he meets his latest client Maggie, who even more than 2 years after her child was snatched refuses to give up hope that she can be found. Sam nearly doesn't take the case because it strikes too closely to his own past, but once he meets her and looks into her Violet Eyes, he can't resist. That decision changes both of their live forever. I highly recommend this book! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful 5.0 out of 5 starsAnother very enjoyable read in the Sam Osborne Series By J. Muench VINE VOICE on April 9, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition This time Sam's case hits close to home with a child kidnapping from two years prior--his past comes flooding back with memories of Davie--but he cannot resist the hope and determination he sees in his client's intriguing eyes. I don't want to give any more away other than it's an impossible-to-put-down book! I was fortunate enough to get a sneak preview, and I love how the final version all came together perfectly!! Another highly recommend, and looking forward to Book 4!! 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful 5.0 out of 5 starsA book you can not put down!! By Kathleen F. Whitman on February 24, 2015 Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase I enjoyed the first two books in the Sam Osborne series. They were well written and held my interest to the point I could not put them down. But this latest book is the best yet. Being from the same hometown as the authors, I enjoyed reading of the local town's and familiar areas. I literally read this book overnight and could not put it down. I am anxiously awaiting their next book. I hope they are working on it! 5.0 out of 5 starsEveryone of these books are so wonderful!! By Tara Sauernheimer on October 3, 2015 Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase Just finished the 3rd book in the Sam Osborne series. I loved getting to know more about Sam in this book. The story progresses quickly and brings up personal memories for Sam. It's through those memories you get to know him and like him even more. The unfolding of the mystery happens at a nice pace throughout the book and I highly recommend this good read.
