Her poetry and prose range from love and loss, to life, growth and empowerment, written with a bohemian flair, inspired by nature, freedom and relationships. Hence, her new collection of poems, titled Vine, where fairytale and erotica also entwine throughout her work. Melody continues to evolve with her writing, ""testing the literary waters"" and exploring various genres, but mostly, you will find heartfelt messages, for both men and women, in her latest book, Vine. Reviews

One of the things I love most about this collection is the personal undertones delivered throughout the book. While we have grown to love Melody through Moon Gypsy, this collection gives us an additional personal touch. She discusses some of her favorite things: Frankenstein, Edgar Allen Poe, gothic corsets, and the color purple. She discusses some of her personal experiences with heartbreak and falling in love. Her words are so relatable while also giving you an exclusive look into what makes her who she is. It takes a talented writer to be able to combine the personal and the relatable in such a seamless way. - Liz Newman, author Hope Between Heartbeats Melody Lee's books are what beautiful dreams are made of. Melody Lee writes from her soul, is often raw, always edgy, but never flippant, her work is as relatable as it is beautiful. Nicole Lyons, author of Hush and I Am A World of Uncertainties Disguised As A Girl Melody Lee is an excellent writer of poetry. I loved her book from start to finish and even bookmarked the ones I love to read over and over again. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves poetry or give as a great gift. - Linda C. Giordano I stumbled upon Melody Lee's poetry while searching for a quote online by someone famous. Sublime serendipity brought these beautiful words of hers straight to my heart, Don't tell a girl with fire in her veins and hurricane bones what she should and shouldn't do. In the blink of an eye, she will shatter that ridiculous cage you attempt to build around her beautiful bohemian spirit. Why had I never heard this fresh, wise, beautiful voice? Melody Lee's anonymity will not last long. Her name will soon be on the lips of everyone who loves poetry that speaks to the heart and soul. Move over Emily Dickinson, Mary Oliver and all the rest of you--you've got company. Yes, there's a new kid on the block! And oh, what a voice she has! Kerry Lee Daniel, author The Cucumber Diaries: Juicy Tidbits from the Garden of My Life Melody Lee's poetry is magical. Her words pour beautiful feelings into every fiber of my being. It's a book that I truly treasure and will read over and over again. - Michael B.
