After his residency in Kiel, Germany, and a fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, he became an associate professor of neurosurgery in Kiel. He later held key positions at SANA Klinikum, Duisburg, Germany, excelling in oncological neurosurgery, as director of vascular neurosurgery and a professor of neurosurgery at Heinrich Heine University, Duesseldorf, he significantly contributed to the field, publishing extensively. Prof. Petridis is the neurosurgical program director of Brainglobal, pioneering a vascular neurosurgery fellowship in Cameroon and expanding to other African countries. Homajoun Maslehaty is a distinguished neurosurgeon, educated at the University of Hamburg, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine title. He commenced his specialization training at the University Hospital Kiel and laterserved as a specialist at the University Hospital Essen.
