RICHARD TULLOCH has written over sixty children's books, heaps of plays and numerous scripts for children's TV series, including the famous Bananas in Pyjamas and New McDonald's Farm and the screenplay for the animated feature film Ferngully II: The Magical Rescue. Richard lives with his wife in Sydney and spends part of each year based in Amsterdam. In between times he travels the world, performing his storytelling show Storyman and teaching writing workshops in schools. TERRY DENTON is an award-winning illustrator and author of children's books. His cheeky sense of humour and quirky drawing style are instantly recognised by children all around Australia. His talents have been combined with other authors to produce such classics as SPOONER OR LATER, THE PAW, and JAKE AND PETE. Terry has also illustrated many of his own texts, including FELIX AND ALEXANDER, HOME IS THE SAILOR, ZAPT! and GASP!. Terry is married and lives by the beach with his wife Kirsten and their three children. They share the house with a couple of Jack Russell terriers and five chooks.
