Tsunami in the Head – Better Understanding and Coping with Burnout: New Approaches for a Resilient Society

Overview

Burnout remains a current and socially relevant issue, especially in the education sector, yet it is rarely openly discussed. It is often accompanied by feelings of shame and guilt, depending on the individual. Everyone has their own perception of what burnout is—but does this perception truly reflect reality? And if so, why does burnout seem to affect so many people unnoticed? The author aims to change this situation with her book and the approaches it offers for organizations, teams, leaders, consultants, as well as those affected and their families and friends. She seeks to foster a new awareness of social responsibility. In doing so, she builds a bridge to a new perspective on resilience and health, providing an active contribution to prevention and education. Her book offers accessible and approachable insights into a serious topic, enabling an open and healthy approach to this complex, insidious, and life-altering condition.
