Change and how to lead it successfully has become the foremost topic in the minds of library professionals. However, libraries' track record at change is not very good even as technology and other market place drivers have radically altered the very nature of change itself. Most librarians do not understand transformational change or how to lead it, which is causing virtually all of the change-related problems they are now facing.
