TORC est un CHAT unique, avec deux séries d'ouvrages en préparation: TORC le CHAT découvertes et TORC le CHAT petites histoires. TORC a été sauvé en 2009 d'un refuge pour animaux dans l'État de Washington, aux États-Unis. Sa curiosité et sa nature aimante ont inspiré NONA à créer son personnage TORC le CHAT. Dans la série d'ouvrages TORC le CHAT découvertes, les enfants pourront laisser libre cours à leur imagination en parcourant le monde avec TORC le CHAT dans ses aventures. Cette série d'ouvrages pour enfants couvrira tous les continents de la planète en suivant un modèle de deux ouvrages par continent. Chaque continent sera suivi d'une merveilleuse édition spéciale avec une thématique unique.

Not only is this a children's book that sparks imagination and adventure in your little ones, this book is truly a work of art. The detail in this hand painted, watercolor adventure makes it a fun and educational page turner that both the children and parents can enjoy. I absolutely loved going on the adventure with Torc throughout North America and I cannot wait to see what other adventures he has in store. The visual art of the book is amazing and wonderful to look at. The story line is filled with adventure and curiosity. There are small little questions throughout the book that help children with their imagination and to think about why . Very well written and overall awesome theme. My daughters loved this book. The quality of the book is outstanding. The pictures are great, very realistic. Torc encourages children to go on their own adventures, and explore nature.

Author Information

Nona is a Romanian-American entrepreneur, the author of the Torc the Cat book series, illustrator, fine artist and founder of Nona Design, a studio focused on publishing, photography, illustration and fine art. Her children's books have been translated into multiple languages and her fine art has been commissioned across the world. Nona was born into a family of educators and grew up in a difficult environment surrounded by poverty. She learned from a very early age that the only way forward is through self improvement, helping those in need and giving back to the community. Since 2018, Nona and her husband, Adrian, have been running the #SMILESwithTORC Charitable Campaign, which has resulted in more than 2,600 books being donated to different organizations, programs and little free libraries around the US and Canada. Nona holds masters degrees in chemical engineering and business, and has used her science background to create works that inspire her audience to be curious and learn. Her life's mission is to help others and bring positive change to the world.
