Scott has been writing science fiction for almost as long as he has been alive - his first short story, a futuristic Jetsons-inspired tale, was written in fourth grade, was hand-illustrated in crayon, and won a young writers contest at the University of Arizona. Author Information

Scott lives with his husband Mark in an adorable Italian-style home in Folsom, California. A Rainbow Award winning author, he has published 14 novels, and more than sixty stories in total. He runs Queer Sci Fi, QueeRomance Ink, Liminal Fiction, and Other Worlds Ink with Mark. He is also the head of the Queer Sacramento Authors Collective, and was the committee chair for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) for almost three years. He currently runs the Sacramento Book Festival and Nebula Con.
