Overview

Some little girls love fairy wings and frills. Some little girls would rather spend their time in dirt and trees. Friendship and imagination though always win over differences when there is a way to play. In this delightful story, two little girls might not have much in common, but the fun they have together playing wins over any differences between them. This is a perfect story of confidence and teamwork for any little girl who is a tomboy at heart, a girly girl at heart and for sisters, friends or classmates who are complete opposites.

Author Information

When she isn't photographing children and families, you might find Sara Ernst writing stories for them. She has had a love for children since she was a child herself and is happy to admit that she has never completely grown up. She was quite a little tomboy herself as a child... climbing trees, catching crawdads in the creek, pretending to be a cowboy with her brother, wearing hats backwards, wearing boots and she certainly did not like wearing dresses often. She eventually found her inner girliness as she got a little older, but truly loves the best of both worlds... the world of puddles, dirt and little insects AND the world of pink, jewels and beautiful dresses. Be yourself and you will always be EXACTLY who you are meant to be!
