Elaine Forrestal lives and works in the beach suburb of Scarborough, Western Australia, where she shares a house with her husband, Peter. She enjoys swimming, walking, reading, travelling and catching up with her many friends in different parts of the world. Elaine has had magazine articles and short stories published, and she has also written for children's television. Her novel Someone Like Me won the Western Australian Young Readers' Hoffman Award and also the 1998 Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Award for Younger Readers. Stanley McGeagh is a gifted narrator and actor. Since starting his acting career in Ireland, he has worked in British repertory and on the West End. Stanley has appeared in various stage musicals, including Applause with Lauren Bacall at Her Majesty's Theatre London. He has extensive television, film and radio experience, including Frontline and Halifax f.p.
