Overview

In these final days of human history we have come to doubt the existence of an eternal sentient God. Over the last few centuries science has gradually, many would say inevitably, superseded God, relegating him to the status of a myth or a fairy tale at best. Even the most devout Christians tend to keep him in a convenient Sunday-sized box, only letting him out once a week under strictly controlled conditions. If God isn't dead quite yet, then he certainly seems to be slipping away rapidly. It would appear that resuscitation might be in order. Who but God himself, could help? The Unauthorized Autobiography of God is a logical yet light hearted, truly first person revelation of the cosmos that will show, once and for all, God is indeed big enough for us all; big enough for Christians to finally embrace rather than fear science; big enough for scientists to openly believe in a Creator instead of apologize for one; perhaps even big enough for atheists and agnostics to clearly see the light for the very first time. From this God's eye view of the origin of the universes (not a typo) you will appreciate what it was like to be born an orphan, alone and facing an eternity of madness. You will gain a new sense of God's place and role in the cosmos, and learn that his incredible power is only overshadowed by his insuppressible sense of humor. Most importantly, you will discover that even though there may be some science behind God, there is also plenty of God behind science. This is the Deluxe Color Edition.

Author Information

"As an author I am like a ""voice crying out in the wilderness"", alone and unknown. A bright lad, I was eligible for Mensa when I was twelve, chose a wife over WestPoint when I was twenty, and have spent my entire life watching and learning. In my many roles I have been a pharmacist for an Arctic MASH unit (just like on TV only much colder), a software designer, an engineer in the aerospace industry, a dedicated single father, a technical writer, and most recently, a semi-retired pizza delivery man in a small Montana town near Glacier National Park (where and when I wrote my book). I was raised in a pretty good Christian home, and received the usual fundamentalist indoctrination while growing up, which I mostly turned my back on during my early adulthood. After going through several phases (including fascinations with Alan Watts, Zen, Carlos Castaneda, Taoism, and ""expanding my consciousness""), I eventually came back around to my roots and now mostly embrace a rather plain vanilla version of Christianity. I don't go to a church; I just read the Bible and worship in my own way. Although I've received a considerable amount of formal training both military and collegiate, I have primarily educated myself, and will continue to do so forever (God willing)."
