Easton is Professor of Law Emeritus at the University of Baltimore School of Law, USA. He is the author of Lawyers of the Old Left, The Life and Crimes of Jared Flagg, New York Times v. Sullivan: A Documentary Supplement, Defending The Masses: A Progressive Lawyer's Battles for Free Speech, Mobilizing the Press: Defending the First Amendment in the Supreme Court, and more than 25 scholarly articles with some 10,000 downloads. He is currently the co-author of a treatise on The Law of Advertising and was founding editor of the Journal of Media Law & Ethics.
