Reviews

'A humorous book that follows the history of rubbish. While the text of this book may not be accessible to very young children, it nonetheless has a wealth of information that is made all the more easy to assimilate through the wonderful illustrations that accompany it' - Nursery Education Plus; 'This is a great little book about the history and science behind rubbish, with some wonderful illustrations by Uwe Mayer. It makes a good introduction to the subject and wider environmental issues' - ecozine; 'Irresistible for children learning to read' - Child Education Plus; 'The Usborne Young Reading Program has a lovely selection of classic tales adapted for younger readers. Graded in seven levels, these have just enough stretch in them and yet are not too overwhelming' - The Irish Sunday Independent; 'Crack reading and make confident and enthusiastic readers with this fantastic reading programme' - Julia Eccleshare
