The Space Between Summits: A Memoir of Extreme Adventure, Grief, and Resilience

Overview

A Memoir of Extreme Adventure, Grief, and Resilience. One of fewer than one hundred women on Earth to complete the Seven Summits-the highest peaks on every continent-Dianette Wells has spent her life pushing beyond limits most people never dare approach. From the frozen brutality of Antarctica to the death zones of the world's tallest mountains, she has faced avalanches, exhaustion, isolation, and fear with relentless determination. But the greatest climb of her life began after devastating personal loss. Filled with breathtaking adventure, hard-earned wisdom, sharp humor, and extraordinary courage, The Space Between Summits is an unforgettable story of a woman who discovered that survival is not about conquering mountains-it is about finding the strength to continue climbing after everything changes. For readers of memoirs by fearless adventurers and seekers of hope, this is an inspiring journey into the wild places of both the earth and the human heart. PRAISE FOR THE BOOK...
