The Shattered Crown

Overview

For a thousand years, the realm of Elandor has stood divided; elves guarding their forests of silver light, trolls bound to the frozen peaks, orc tribes warring beneath the fire-lit skies, and mankind clinging to the plains that are slowly dying. Magic fades, kingdoms crumble, and shadows stir in the east where the fallen sorcerer Lord Malakar rises once more. When war returns to the land, a humble blacksmith's apprentice named Kael Thornwind discovers a glowing shard among the ashes of his village; a fragment of the long-lost Crown of Dawn, the divine relic said to have once bound the world in harmony. Pursued by monsters and kings alike, Kael's path crosses with Lirael of Silverwood, an immortal elf and last guardian of the Old Magic. Together with a banished troll warrior, Brog Stonefist, and a rebel orc shaman, Nara the Flameborn, they must seek the Crown's remaining shards before Malakar can reunite them for his own dark purpose. But the Crown was shattered for a reason. To reforge it is to risk the soul itself; for every shard carries not only the light of creation, but the curse of corruption. Across battlefields of flame and ice, through ruined cities and forgotten temples, Kael must uncover the truth of his own bloodline and face the impossible choice between power and peace. As the armies of every race march toward the final war, destinies will collide, loyalties will burn, and the light of dawn will be tested against the deepest shadow. In the end, the world's salvation may depend not on gods or crowns, but on the courage of those willing to stand together when all else has fallen.
