In September 2016 she left her job with the Civil Service Fast Stream, after working in several government departments, to launch 25before25, an innovative project where she spent a year trying 25 careers before turning 25 through short term work experience, shadowing and just giving things a go. She completed the challenge, and finished all 25 placements before her 25th birthday in August 2017. The project aims to promote portfolio careers, highlight the importance of work experience for all ages and advocate for more diverse careers education for young people. In so doing, 25before25 hopes to provide career clarity for others and question what we should expect from the workplace. It also helped Emma figure what she wanted to do for a living somewhere along the way. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
