Author Information

Rita M. Reali has been a writer as long as she can remember. She's a two-time international award-winning author and longtime editor. As a former disc jockey in her native Connecticut, Rita used to spend her days ""talking to people who weren't there"" - a skill which transferred perfectly to her being an author. Now she talks to characters who aren't there on ""a little chunk of heaven in rural Tennessee,"" where she lives with her husband and a pair of rambunctious cats. While Rita has written and published six novels for adults, The Purringest Kitty Misplaces His Purr is her second children's book. An award-winning author in her own right, Dee Lynk has been writing, drawing and making music since grade school. After years working as a graphic artist and cartooning for smaller projects, illustrating The Purringest Kitty Finds His Home was her first full-length book project. An accomplished pianist, vocalist and songwriter, she has performed both home and abroad and, most enjoyably, led worship for women's ministry events. Dee is newly retired and excited to be spending more time with God, family, friends and pursuing her creative passions.
