As usual, Morgan G. Farris hit me in all the feels with The Perdurables. I'm amazed by how invested she gets me to be in her characters after only a few chapters. The Perdurables is everything I didn't know I needed and is the perfect background story to this amazing series. Candyce, The Book Dutchesses 'The Perdurables' is unique to any other faerie story I've ever read, in that it neither dims itself down for younger audiences nor drags itself through grit to toughen itself up for older audiences. The characters feel like real people--I mean, faeries; admirable, relateable, and well-rounded, and the prose is gorgeous.
